Minnesota March for Science

Saturday, 22 April

March begins at 11:00 AM, Rally at Noon!

Please join fellow students, post-docs, and faculty from the University of Minnesota as we march in support of public support for open and critical inquiry in the sciences.

Join us at the March (information on meet-ups below) and, if you’re extra fired up, please come to one of our pre-March events the week before the big day.


Sign Making Party with MN Academics United

Saturday 15 April, 1:00pm-4:00pm at the SEIU State Council (2233 University Ave W #422 in St. Paul)

Come to make signs for the March. Materials provided.

Phone Bank with MN Academics United

Tuesday 18 April, 5:30-7:30pm at the MN Academics United office (2233 University Ave W #355 in St. Paul)

Come to phone bank and help us get out the word about the March.

Thursday 20 April, 6:00pm-7:00pm at the Institute on the Environment Atrium (1954 Buford Ave in St. Paul)

Traveling to March for Science: Meet-up Locations

St. Paul Campus Travel Location

Where: St. Anthony Park United Methodist Church *(street parking available)*

When: 9:03am, 9:33am

Take 3A or 3B MetroTransit bus to Rice St. & St. Anthony Ave ($1.75 adult fare)

Walk to Sculpture Park


West Bank Campus Travel Location

Where: Anderson Hall

When: 8:49am, 9:49am

Take 3A or 3B MetroTransit bus to Rice St. & St. Anthony Ave ($1.75 adult fare)

Walk to Sculpture Park


Gather at St. Paul Sculpture Park (before joining the rally at Cathedral Hill Park)

Where: St. Paul Sculpture Park, When: 9:30-10:30am

What: At 10:25am, walk to Cathedral Hill Park for rally

Who: students will be at the park at 9:30. Look for someone dressed in a cap and gown! This is also the meet-up for the U of M CBS and COGS groups.
